From Paul Fellows at 2006-06-29 23:24:35 : I have greatly enjoyed seeing all the pictures. Could you please show us what an A4 would have looked like in LNER lined apple green. I know this did happen in real life but none of the preserved A4's carried this livery so it's fictitious up to a point. Many thanks.
From matthew scrutton at 2006-12-31 16:25:15 : the only thing that spoils it is Mallards red wheels! But they look good on the Virgin one!
From Richard Swayne at 2007-01-08 21:57:27 : Cool! But I think the logo would look better on the tender.
From Michael D. Atkinson at 2007-02-15 22:50:20 : Far classier than the Virgin repaint, and the tone of blue far surpasses any of the BR blue liveries applied to the A4s. I agree with Richard Swayne that the GNER logo should be on the tender, but I would certainly love it if GNER took a locomotive from their predecessor the LNER and made it look like this and actually ran it on the main line! Deffinitly shows that the classiness of the North East's railways hasn't changed!
From Steve at 2007-06-24 19:36:04 : WoooOOOoooowoooo! THIS I LIKE. Sort of 1930s typeface on a 1930s locomotive. Works really well.
From Sean Quinn at 2007-10-21 19:44:05 : Isn't that the "Hogwarts Express" in the background?
From David Collins at 2008-02-14 15:42:34 : Can we have an A4 in National Express livery now they have taken over the East Coast Franchise. Referring back to the comment about apple green - what about an A4 in Great Northern livery. Also what about Flying Scotsman, Green Arrow, the GN Atlantic in BR Blue, Intercity Grey, GNER & National Express livery.
From L. E. Greys at 2008-03-13 23:57:46 : "Hogwarts Express"? That should have stayed a ficticious livery.
From j......... at 2008-04-08 21:08:24 : Hmmm- My Verdict- Wait for it----............ NEVER GONNA HAPPEN
From The Master at 2008-04-09 13:27:39 : j......... - I don't think the intention of this site is to predict future liveries...
From Sam at 2008-06-05 23:40:26 : Is there any chance of an NXEC version of this :D
From L. E. Greys at 2008-07-16 00:10:44 : Sort of Silver Jubilee perhaps?
