Fictitious Liveries
For my sister - some proper traction! 86 in Northern Rail livery (one of them, anyway).Previous | Next... and in the Blue/Yellow livery applied to certain AC electrics in Bulgaria. From Steve at 2006-08-19 21:06:11 : Blimey. I thought locomotives looked British because of a certain British look to design and the CI loading gauge maybe. This photo shows that the Continental Look can just be painted on!
From RichardP at 2006-08-24 13:17:55 : I think it looks very attractive!
From 37401 at 2006-08-27 18:33:39 : amazing how much difference it makes - they can look good in any colour and livery without yellow front end panels!
From bjmorley at 2007-09-15 13:56:40 : why are the 87's being moved overseas for? why not store them so we can still se them?
From The GWR at 2007-10-28 17:30:57 : I think that it might be the yellow front end that makes it look british.
From L. E. Greys at 2008-07-23 02:55:47 : It works the other way, too. I once saw a model of an Electro-Motive GP59 in rail blue with yellow ends . . . it looked like a Class 15 on steroids!
