One for fans of Rats and McRats. 25 in Trainload Metals, and how the 27s might have looked if retained for Glasgow-Edinburgh push-pull runs (yes, I know it's a 26).

Fictitious Liveries
Yep, Load Haul still looks good on just about anything...Previous | NextJust to see if it could be done - a scrap-line of NSE 31s, two in old-style and two in later-style.<br>By the way, for those wanting them ex-works, the condition of the locos in the original shot determines the condition of the locos in the relivery... Usually.

From JImdee at 2007-08-19 21:17:58 : Would have looked even better if the lower colours/stripes had been raised to the bottom of the cab windows (perhaps?)
From The Master at 2007-08-20 08:06:15 : ... but then the stripes wouldn't line up with those on the carriages. That's how Scotrail livery worked. Check out the 47/7s.
From PrentonPimp at 2007-08-20 20:00:02 : WOO! A Rat! Ta!
From Weegie at 2007-08-20 23:36:53 : The 25 really looks the part in railfreight grey - if they'd lasted long enough, then it could easily have happened. Not too sure about the 26 masquerading as a 27, though. The yellow roof might have shown up the exhaust dirt too much. Still, excellent work (as usual). (Thinks: a 27 in HR yellow probably _not_ a good idea...)
From jmw at 2007-08-24 08:13:25 : think the 25 looks ace but the 27 i'm not so sure - its the depth of the black on the front thats not right. Perhaps if it was reduced to just under the front windows it would be better balanced (the cabsides would be more yellow but then the original intercity livery was)
From The Master at 2007-08-24 11:12:01 : ... BUT ORIGINAL SCOTRAIL WAS ACTUALLY LIKE THAT. The dark grey came right down round the nose on the 47/7s, and that's what this pic shows.
From Gingell at 2007-10-14 12:17:38 : excellant work,my 2 fav engines in 2 of my fav liveries
From Dai O'Rea at 2007-11-10 17:38:44 : Howzabout a Class 27 in Large logo, or Railfreight grey? There's definitley a lack of scottish locos here...
From j......... at 2008-04-21 07:48:57 : They are a bit dirty.
