Super Deltic 1: Another one I've wanted to do for ages - the Super Deltic. No1. This image is based on the official EE drawings published in Brian Webb's book: 4600hp, Class 50-style body, etc. The only compromise is the fuel tanks which are straight off a production 55.

From bjmorley at 2007-09-04 10:57:20 : that looks better than the original DP2!
From at 2007-09-18 11:29:37 : Not sure I like this, but it's interesting...........
From Ged Flannery at 2007-10-12 17:02:58 : I have read the spec sheets of these locomotives many times and oh how I wish they had been built. These would have realy been something special.Imagine the sound of one of these on full bore. Magnificent.
From Steve at 2008-03-11 21:54:57 : Slightly over-weight mid-life look (just like so many of us Brits born in the Fifties!)
From ke@syslab.com at 2008-03-13 12:44:20 : Cor blimey! Haedes Pyros. Did the original drawings not have a front panel integrated indicator board like a deeuff? Dreadful if you could put a gargoyle "0"s horn box or a 60s horns on a smooth head.
