From Beercat at 2007-09-19 21:59:45 : Err, but if it's a "cut and shut" job on a 50 and a 55, wouldn't you get a "52 and a half"?
From PrentonPimp at 2007-09-20 08:33:42 : Lovely-jubbly. Always wondered what DP2'd look like in corporate blue... I wonder what she would have looked like if she was a Finsbury Park machine..(hint-hint!!)
From Owen at 2007-09-20 20:46:30 : To Prenton - and why not. See the adjacent image.
From Richard at 2007-10-24 23:22:03 : I think the classifcation '51' would have been more appropriate (even though that proposed for the 'Super Deltic' design) and '49' reserved for a re-engineered 47 or even something based on the prototype 'Lion'.
From dampers at 2008-03-13 11:59:46 : I reckon with DP2 being pre Brush's twin engine contaption that your class 49 would actually be 53 or 54. The wonderful superdeltic you created ( from a 50 and a western?) would maybe be a 56 or perhaps a 60. Have you done a kestrel? the original class 59 or 62?
