If, like the GWR and SR before it, BR had operated narrow gauge lines... Of course, whether Regional Railways would have kept the copper as shiny as the Heatherslaw chaps do is open to question.

Fictitious Liveries
Another narrow gauge fantasy... The WHR (reopened by BR in the 1970s), just as sectorisation is kicking in...Previous | NextWell, it's an A2 in BR Blue.

From RichardP at 2007-10-10 16:28:16 : Well dont forget up to 1986 BR DID operate the narrow gauge Vale of Rheidol line. The locos and stock were repainted in rail blue in 1967, but in the 1970's it was customised with black and white lining and brass BR logos instead of transfers. Not doubt had the VofR stayed with BR until the locos might have carried Regional Railways livery! Anyway, nice pic!
From David Broster at 2007-10-21 14:03:01 : COOL!!!!!! :D:D:D:D This is brilliant - is the the RH&DR - how about a recent TOC livery - is this SouthEastern or Southern terriotory?
From Murray at 2007-10-27 10:40:32 : Brilliant! I'd love to see more NG stuff on here. How about the Welshpool and Llanfair tanks in rail blue, the Lynton and Barnstaple stock in post-war liveries, or the 18" gauge shunters at Crewe or Horwich in BR departmental liveries...the possibilities are endless!
From Wardie at 2007-11-10 21:23:02 : Is this the RHDR???? Go wash out yo' mouth boi!
From at 2008-05-16 17:26:40 : hhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
From jim knowles at 2008-08-14 22:05:11 : Genius just bloody genius go on customise the RHDR or the "Lal Ratty"
