Following on from the earlier DVT blue/grey images, a lot of people have suggested HST-style blue/yellow. Well, here it is: can anyone suggest a reason why this livery wouldn't be permitted on a DVT?

From Aitken at 2007-10-27 18:05:04 : Because it clashes horribly with Virgin liveried stock?
From Steve at 2007-10-28 14:15:40 : One answer - not enough yellow on the nose, my old china. Now, do I win a prize?
From Adam Warr at 2007-10-28 15:26:46 : Would it pass the minimum requirements for yellow on the front end?

Otherwise, the livery suits the DVT surprisingly well...
From Callum Swansborough at 2007-10-28 17:21:56 : Seeing the 57 beside it, I was wondering what a dvt, 86, 87, 90 and mk3/mk2 would look like in the Pendolino/Voyager livery...
From Merlin at 2007-10-28 18:53:22 : Perhaps it would be ok if the bufferbeam and skirt were both yellow as well. I suspect, though, it would have to be applied as it was to the buffer HSTs, with the yellow extended up alongside the front window.
From Andy Elms at 2007-10-31 20:14:56 : As one of the "lot of people", a hearty thankyou!
From Philip Wright at 2007-11-02 22:41:06 : If the DVT was as built, the front skirt could be yellow as well. Could do with some bodyside branding Intercity 110 perhaps? Any ideas for the DVT to work with the Cargo D MkIIIs & 86101?
From The Chief at 2007-11-10 11:58:56 : There is enough warning yellow on the front to allow this livery. However, what is missing is gold paint on the buffers.
